For the Dreamers
Station magazine recently had a chance to catch up with Jeremiah Taiwo, the Maryland native and creator of ‘Cozy.’ While speaking with Jeremiah about the importance of maintaining and feeding off the creative energies of his environment, it emphasized that in order for one to be productive creatively, your environment has to be complementary to what you’re creating. Jeremiah went on to explain to Station Magazine about his favorite place to create. “My biggest inspiration comes from sitting in my local art museum, it’s quiet and it’s peaceful. I find most of my creativity by being around art, I’m able to create in my solitude.” As “Cozy” as Jeremiah’s clothing line, Jeremiah went on to remind us that,
“A cozy space speaks for itself. Art speaks for itself. That’s why I always go to the museum to create.”
Station Magazine wanted to know where Jeremiah gets his poise towards creativity from?
“As a kid I sat in the living room and created whatever I wanted. ‘Cozy’ is a lifestyle of things that complement each other. That includes the clothes you wear. This brand is my younger self speaking creatively.”
Life comes in chapters, and over the last five months, Jeremiah has been telling his story of inspiration and creative blocks, through his clothes.
“Follow your creative mind and it’ll take you places.”
