Travis Scott: the man, the myth, the legend. Probably, the rapper with the most merchandising deals under his belt, once his name is attached to any product, it sells out in a minute. His name is already synonymous with "sold out," and in the streetwear/sneaker space, that's already a given.

Fresh from the heels of his signature model, the "Jumpman Jack TR," the man and his list of shoe collaborations are showing no signs of slowing down.

It seems that another Travis Scott shoe is on the way. The rapper and Jordan Brand's long-running partnership continues with new Air Jordan 1 Low color iterations, this time in the form of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Canary.”

A Tribute to His Colorful Past

Now leaning towards a lighter and brighter aesthetic, this version boasts Canary/Racer Blue/Light Silver and Gum Soles which draws inspiration from Travis Scott's High School alma mater, Elkis High Knights.

Travis Trademarks Still Intact

True to the Travis Scott sneaker DNA, the design elements, such as the Cactus Jack branding and backwards swoosh, remain intact. The star of the show here, aside from the lighter colorway, are the Gum Medium Brown rubber outsoles, which are certified skate shoe fan favorites.

Get Your Calendars Ready

Releasing this May 17, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Canary” can be obtained with a retail price of $150 USD. Same with its much coveted predecessors, it will be launched via select Jordan Brand retailers, both in-store and online, including Nike.com.

Do We Need Another Travis Jordan 1?

Based from comments online, people are already feeling the Jordan 1 fatigue, will another Travis Scott Jordan 1 help?

Yes, we know it is a Travis Scott shoe and it's still a must cop for the majority, but don't you think Nike and Cactus Jack himself are just phoning in these sneaker designs by now? For sure, they still have their flashy ads and backstories but aren't they just too many? It may or may not be the case but time will tell for sure.
